7-Day Anti-Polio Campaign Launched in Chaman, Target Set to Vaccinate 83,000 Children

A target has been set to administer anti-polio drops to 83,000 children in District Chaman.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangalzai, formally inaugurated the 7-day campaign by administering polio drops to a child.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai said that all arrangements have been completed to make the polio campaign a complete success. He made a heartfelt appeal to parents and all the people of the area to play their role in making this campaign successful so that the future of our children can be secured.
He said that polio is a dangerous and crippling disease, and to eradicate it, it is essential that we, as parents and responsible citizens, must give anti-polio drops to our children.
On the occasion of the inaugural ceremony, doctors from the District Health Department, representatives of UNICEF, and social leaders were also present.
